Lord Tobinsky and Lady Penelope
Hello Everyone -- It's been several months since I posted here. Since then our beloved Kibbles has gone to his reward (which I'm sure involves celestial shrimp platters and birds to beguile him) and we welcomed a new cat, Lord Tobinsky, into our home. He shares the love of his Mommy with Penelope, the girl cat we took in off the streets last November. She was quite miffed when we brought Tobinsky home. The look on her face was that of a spoiled child who has just been told that she has to share her toys. She has since resigned herself to the reality that he's going nowhere.

A Point to Consider
It has been pointed out that posting a "blog" (also applies to MySpace, Facebook, etc.) actually means creating a personal dossier on yourself. Further, it becomes the property of strangers, especially corporate ones, in this case Google. Since Google is evil, it doesn't make much sense to hand over personal information that will be used for evil purposes. Something to reside at the back of your mind when happily blogging

A Greeting to All
My first post, but very little to say. Thought I would have more time to dream up witty comments, but have been busy at the reference desk and closing time is fast approaching. Will be wittier tomorrow.
Kibbles Avoids the Christmas Cap
Ever notice how cats don't like to wear attire, and show their dislike with a lack of cooperation? In this instance, Kibbles merely rolls out of our attempts to make him don the Christmas Cap. A loveable display of passive aggression.
